Time series analysis of the waste water flow in the pressure sewer

This Bachelor Work is describing the time series analysis of outlet from pressure waste water sewerage and detailed statistic data evaluation in village Štěpánovice. In terms of this Work there were realized detailed evaluation of measured time series of flow by 5 minutes in 4 calendar months. Data evaluation was realized by software programme STATISTICA and MS EXCEL with output to determination of an average and maximal daily flow, maximal and minimal hourly flow and coefficient of non-uniformity. At the same time there was found out with statistic probability number of simultaneous running pumps of pressure sewerage of Štěpánovice village.

The bachelor thesis using an econometrics model examines the influence of sharing economy (Airbnb short-term rental) and other variables as GDP per capita, prices of services and products related to tourism, frequency of air transport, weather and seasons on the number of spent nights of foreign tourists arriving in Barcelona. By time series analysis predicts the Airbnb demand until January 2017, which compares with the performance and financial indicators of hotel accommodations in Barcelona. The questionnaire characterizes the Airbnb clients and other factors playing a role in choosing accommodation.

The main goal of this diploma thesis is to analyze the financial health of a number of Czech companies in the automotive sector. For the analysis, the logistic regression method will be applied to financial data available on the Amadeus database. Results of the regression will then be compared to those obtained using the Altman Z-score model. A second aim of the thesis is to analyze a sales time series for the Czech automotive industry using the Box-Jenkins method and to derive the impact of the recent financial crisis on the sales numbers.

Vplyv peňažných agregátov M1 na úrokovú sadzbu korunových úverov poskytnutých bankami domácnostiam v ČR

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to clarify the impact and to prove the statis-tical dependence between monetary aggregates M1 and interest rates of Czech koruna loans granted to households in the Czech Republic by banks. The intro-duction of the thesis describes the development of money and the distribution of monetary aggregates. The banking system's literary overview summarizes its fun-ctions, describes commercial and central banking, interest rates of loans, key in-terest rates announced by central banks , monetary policy instruments of the CNB and central bank criticism. A regression analysis is used to achieve the set goals, where the relation of the mentioned monetary aggregates to the loan interest ra-tes and the model time series of the indicators is described by using the ordinary least squares method.

System Priors for Econometric Time Series

This paper introduces “system priors” into Bayesian analysis of econometric time series and provides a simple and illustrative application. Unlike priors on individual parameters, system priors offer a simple and efficient way of formulating well-defined and economically meaningful priors about model properties that determine the overall behavior of the model. The generality of system priors is illustrated using an AR(2) process with a prior that its dynamics comes mostly from business-cycle frequencies.

Analysis of environment in CR regions

The environment is an important part of human life, which greatly affects the quality of human health and the entire population. On the quality of the environment is given ever greater emphasis, since there is an increase in the negative anthropogenic effects. To avoid these impacts or reduce their consequences should protect the environment. The important part is sustainable development in order to keep a full-fledged environment to future generations.
In this thesis I analyze the main pollution by pollutants in the years 2000-2013 from all stationary sources in the district of Karvina, and from mobile sources of the Moravian-Silesian Region. Based on the statistical data of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, I processed an analysis of time series methods, has chosen trendy model with a forecast of future progression. For the years 2014 - 2016, I calculated the prediction of emitted pollutants.

Statistical analysis of the Aviation by appropriate quantitative methods

This Masters Thesis is divided into two parts. A theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part a history of aviation in the Czech Republic and its development is described as well as the division of the aviation and the airspace of the Czech Republic, the demarcation of airports and global events which have an influence on aviation in the Czech Republic.
A practical part is focused on the analysis of time series of the capacity utilization of selected Czech airports and the airspace of the Czech Republic from the point of view of the number of the aircraft movements. In this part a proportion of the individual airports in full use of the airspace of the Czech Republic is expressed and the elementary characteristics and descriptive statistics are calculated. Further on an influence of the mentioned global events on the development of on selected airports and in the airspace of the Czech Republic is examined. Last but not least the development of the capacity utilization of the selected time series for 2015 is forecast followed by assessment of the airports´ capacities with an evaluation whether the capacity of the selected airports is sufficient or not.
